Securing AJAX requests in JavaScript applications

3. Use HTTPS for AJAX Requests

Using HTTPS for AJAX requests ensures end-to-end encryption, making it harder for attackers to intercept or modify the data transmitted between the client and server. By default, AJAX requests are sent over HTTP, which is insecure. Switching to HTTPS ensures secure communication and protects against Man-in-the-Middle attacks.

4. Implement Input Validation and Output Encoding

One of the most critical security practices is input validation and output encoding. Always validate user input to prevent malicious code injection into your application. Additionally, encode the output data to ensure that any user-injected data is treated as data rather than executable code.
