Introduction to JWT (JSON Web Tokens)

  2. Verify the signature by recalculating it using the same algorithm, secret key, header, and payload.
  3. Check the expiration time (if specified) and other claims to ensure the token is still valid.
  4. Grant access to the requested resource if all checks pass.
